I've discovered that although the leaves have fallen off the trees, the local forests and trails are still covered in color! Thanks to the beautiful weather we've been having, I've been able to still enjoy the fall colors with various families. It's always so much fun to photograph clients that are already friends! I have to admit though, I didn't know that these boys were as outgoing as they are. I had come to know them as little quiet souls, but found out that they also have a wonderfully zany side as well! This had to be one of my most favorite sessions this fall. My favorite spa product girls are back at it again!! They have been very busy creating a new line of baby products that **ALMOST** make me want to have another baby in the house (note I said ALMOST!!) :) With that in mind, I had the pleasure of photographing their three girls at my home last week and we had SUCH fun! I love it when I can get together with them because my "girl" tank gets filled up once again (lots of testosterone in my house usually!)Aren't these cuties the BEST!!?!. I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween! I **ONLY** ate ummmmmmm a small amount of chocolate, honest!! :) We had a great weekend and with the beginning of the week comes another beautiful sneak peek. These kiddos are all cousins and they were SO easy to work with! Usually groups of kids this size can be hard to capture everyone at the same time, but not this group.

I recently had the pleasure of seeing some of my favorite boys (besides my own that is!). This fabulous family reminds me so much of my own! Life in their house is busy, but so full of fun and joy. I hope everyone had a great weekend! I am plugging away at proofing so many beautiful family sessions and this one is no exception. You might recognize the two little sweeties in this family from my summer blog header. They were dressed in little princess dresses exploring some flowers. This time I had the privilege to photograph their extended family. This family was a pleasure to photograph. They even have great taste in boys' names (there's a Colin and Ryan in their family - my boys' names!).

We get the job done! I had the opportunity to photograph an extended family (brothers and their families) a few days ago and it was RAINY and MUCKY! No fear though, they just so happened to have a drive shed that was perfect for the occasion and we had such fun! Have you ever seen kids this happy? All three little ones win the prize for the most cheerful sweeties during a session. The youngest though just needed something special to bring out her beautiful smile, walking!! :) It was an honour to photograph your families! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Teeny tiny new life! The newest addition to the Foster family has arrived and is so sweet. He was SO good to let me pose him pretty much any way I'd like. He also has three adoring big brothers. I had a wonderful time photographing their family. I probably shouldn't let this out, but Dad makes an amazing latte served up with biscotti as well. Talk about being spoiled!! This session was for a dear client and neighbour of my brother! Little "L" now has an adorable baby brother and together, we had SUCH fun at our session!! I believe this little sweetheart is! Meet little "B.". She is very fair and very sweet. She also prefers uninterrupted sleep ( so do I for that matter!). I RARELY share this many pics in a sneak peek, but I just couldn't narrow them down any further! There are so many to choose from! I have had the pleasure of photographing these three sweethearts for a few years now and they just keep getting more beautiful each time I see them. They truly make my job effortless. I am so excited to share this sneak peek with you! Not only because it has been done a little differently, but also because this little sweetie belongs to a special client turned friend (love it when that happens!). They have two boys (yep, I can relate!) and then last week they had a baby girl!!!!!!!! I am so happy for their family. "N." has told me more than once that the music I use for slideshows makes her teary every time. "N." I hope everyone has had a great summer! Blessed Memories is open once again for business and I am looking forward to working with everyone this fall. I thought I would share some summer highlights with you all from our family. I don't know if I've ever shared on my blog why my business is named "Blessed Memories". When I was first deciding what to call it, I was sitting one night with my dear hubby and we were talking about different names. I told him that I wanted something that reflected how I felt about my children, simply that I felt so very blessed to spend time with them and make memories with them. Well, you can figure out how the name came from there! :) This summer was another blessing filled with many memories for us. I hope you enjoy the preview. Thanks for watching!

Wow, my poor blog is lacking! I have had quite few clients lately that haven't been blogged (but who have seen all of their pics though). This will be my last post for a couple of weeks as I will be on holidays until August 24th. While I will miss my photo sessions, I am looking forward to photographing my own family (much to my boys' dismay!). I will be returning all e-mails and phone calls as of August 24th. I have such amazingly patient clients. Summer seems to have arrived on a speeding train this year! I have so many beautiful families to share with you, but have been busy spending time with them and not here on my blog. I'm so sorry! I will try over the next few days to get caught up starting with this lovely family from Elmira. They have two of the sweetest little girls who absolutely stole my heart from the moment I met them! We had such fun playing checking, out everything the park had to offer. Once again, being a mom to two boys, these two were an absolute delight for me! Thanks for the fun session Mom and Dad! The ONLY thing better than one baby is TWO babies!! I had the opportunity to travel to Whitby to photograph these two little sweeties a couple of weeks ago. They are the sweetest! When I came home from the session, I told my husband that while I know I always say this, it's true: Twins are given to parents that are PERFECT for the job. This mom and dad were no different. Both easy going and easy to work with, I so enjoyed this session. I even stopped in to Yorkdale to shop a little in those stores we don't get out here in the sticks!

Having a protective big sister! What fun I had a while ago with these two sweeties!
They belong to my son's wonderful grade 6 teacher (see below) who has been SO good for him this past year. Colin is going to miss her so much!!! Although a little older than a newborn, their newest addition was VERY good to me and only cried once for about 3 seconds. That's less than the average newborn. Talk about perfection! :) This Mom has been VERY patiently waiting for a sneak peek (thanks Mom!). This family was an absolute delight to photograph! I met 'Mom' through the Woodstock Camera Club (a great club by the way!) and she is an aspiring portrait photographer. I wish I could share some of her work here, it's beautiful! Wow do I have some catching up to do! Our household has been down and out with the stomach flu over the last week or so and I think we are on the mend. Now to share all of the sneak peeks I have waiting (and they are GREAT ones!)

Number one: A family that has a special place in my heart. One of the best parts of my job is watching little ones grow. I tend to 'freeze' time when I take pictures and I have to admit that the pictures are how I still see the kids' ages. So, when I get a chance to reconnect with past clients, I'm always blown away by how much they have grown! I hadn't seen little "E." since his newborn pictures. What a handsome little man he's grown into!! Not to mention his brother looks more and more like his daddy every day. It was so nice to connect with you all again! Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope you enjoy time and some sweets with those you love. Speaking of sweets, meet little "P.". What a sweetie! Usually I tend to photograph newborns within the first week or so, but meeting "P." at six weeks was such a refreshing change of pace! She cooed and talked to me, gave me eye contact and was such a joy to photograph. She has two beautiful loving parents as well who adore her. Her dad told me of a onesie that she has that says "My finger may be small, but I've already got my daddy wrapped around it". Rightfully so! Thanks for a great shoot Mom and Dad!

Check out this Momma and daddy to be! This is none other than Tricia and Michael of "Spa Sisters" (www.spasisters.ca). Have you ever seen a pregnant Momma look so amazing? She looks like she is straight out of a maternity catalog! You would never have guessed how cold it really was at this shoot. T.&M. were real troopers! I have to say, I CAN'T WAIT to meet this sweetie pie hiding inside that cute tummy! Thanks for a great session! I'm so looking forward to the newborn one!

My turn!! I have other sneak peeks that I must share, but I wanted to pop in with a couple from our weekend birthday celebrations. I very rarely share my own family, so I thought it would be fitting to post these. My youngest had a birthday party this past weekend and Star Wars was the theme. We had SUCH a blast. A good friend, Audrianna De Souza happens to also be a FANTASTIC party planner and she planned our day. This woman takes creativity to another level. We had 'YodaSoda', 'Boba Fettucini' and played some amazing "Jedi Training" games. The boys were in heaven! Part of our day included my brother coming into the room from a dark lit area dressed up as Darth Vader. We even had dry ice at his feet! The boys weren't completely sure who this man was, but they ran with it and here are some pics of the fun day. Hope your Monday is a good one!

And what a sweetie this little guy is!! Meet little "J.". Now there are four "J.'s" in this household!! I always love it when a family "gets" my style and lets me run with it. Actually it wasn't that bad! But this is still a TOUGH session to blog about......because there are SO MANY images, that it's hard to choose!! :) I had the pleasure of photographing the Vink family yesterday and we had SO much fun in the snow. Snow shoots happen to be one of my very favorite types of sessions and this was no exception. The scenery was perfect, the weather was just right and the subjects, gorgeous! I've chosen these four images to share, but there are many, many more I could have used as well. Thanks so much T. and R. for a fabulous day!

Meet baby 'V.' This little sweetheart belongs to a wonderful family that I've also had the priviledge to watch grow. She has a big brother who has grown so much since I've seen him last! Baby 'V' you are so loved!! Congratulations again Mom and Dad! It was GREAT to see you and work with you again!

I am here I promise! I know it's been too long between posts when my husband bugs me about it! I hope everyone had a great holiday! It's been busy here with shoots, but also with updating my website portfolio. Very shortly there will be a completely different look! In the meantime, I am happy to share my first shoot of the new year! These clients are no strangers to Blessed Memories. I have had the privilege of watching their family grow with the addition of little "L." Isn't she gorgeous? Her brother is just as handsome. Her mom and dad make some beautiful children! I know that Mom was hoping for a shot of the kids together and I'm really excited to share this image below. Now is that a loving brother or what? Thanks for a great session E.&R.!
